Naturopathic Method:
Naturopathic medicine is a patient-centered approach that works to treat not just the disease, but the underlying cause. Different from western medicine, naturopathic medicine examines environmental, lifestyle, nutritional, and emotional factors that may have contributed to or are fostering disease in the body. By focusing on the root source, and implementing natural and gentle remedies, patients can balance their systems, which allows the body’s inherent healing ability to take over. The results are sustainable good health and well-being.
With active listening and in-depth discussion, Dr Lopes creates a tailored, all-inclusive health plan utilizing the safest, most effective methods possible. Plans incorporate counseling, homeopathy, nutrition, lifestyle changes, powerful herbs, and supplements. Patients come away with a new awareness and connection to their body, mind, and spirit. Empowered and supported, patients are eager to take responsibility, knowing that better health is within their grasp.
Advanced Training and Education:
Dr. Lopes also holds a BA in religion from Colgate University in upstate New York with a focus in pre-med. She has extensive knowledge of Biotherapeautic drainage, CST 1 and 2, Constitutional Hydrotherapy, Craniosacral therapy, and Shamanic studies.
